Grants, Sloths, and Venice

We are thrilled to be the recipients of a Canada Council for the Arts Grant for Professional Writers - Creative Writing (March 2016) for our latest historical novel set in Renaissance Venice!

We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, which last year invested $153 million to bring the arts to Canadians throughout the country.
Nous remercions le Conseil des arts du Canada de son soutien. L’an dernier, le Conseil a investi 153 millions de dollars pour mettre de l’art dans la vie des Canadiennes et des Canadiens de tout le pays.

Although we have been diligently and slothfully working on this novel over the last few years, this generous grant will allow us to pick up the pace. Though we don’t yet have a date of publication, we’ll keep you posted.

In the meanwhile, you might enjoy reading if you haven’t yet one of our other books, rereading an old favorite, or giving one of our books for an upcoming holiday or birthday. We truly appreciate your support. We also do book clubs! (We'll skype in or come in person if we can.)
